박아람은 퍼포먼스, 조각, 설치 등 회화 이외의 매체를 통해, 회화의 외연을 넓히거나 그 원관념을 상기하는 작업을 해왔다. 이러한 작업에 앞서 매체를 불문하고 스코어나 표, 다이어그램 등을 작성하는 오랜 습관을 토대로, 최근에는 그 동안의 탐구들을 다시 회화로 집약한 바 있다.

RAHM PARC explores performance, sculpture, installation, and other non- painting media in works that expand the potential of painting or recall the essence of painting. Drawing on her long-held habit of drawing diagrams, tables, and scores before starting a project, regardless of the medium, Parc has recently incorporated her explorations in the form of painting. Building on this experience, the artist will continue to explore the world where image and reality are inextricably linked in her unique representation of perspective.
